Description: Inaugural Laurie Condon-Hodges 2018 Memorial 5K Run/Walk event has been created to honor and celebrate the wonderful, loving person Laurie was. She was a lifelong resident of Georgetown, wife and mother of 3 beautiful children. Laurie was an educator, athlete and lover of life. She lost her long, courageous 4-year battle to Cancer in December of 2015.
Description: This marks the 3rd Annual Andrea Carey Memorial run/walk and the third year that Pam Merkel, a close friend and former colleague of Andrea's, will be running the Boston Marathon in remembrance of Andrea. 100% of the event proceeds will be allocated to Pam’s Fundraising initiative for The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Details: The 8th Annual Tortoise and the Hare 10k. This event is a 100% fundraiser for the Salisbury Parks and Recreation's Partridge Brook Park. This event also includes a 1 mile kids fun run and offers a 3 mile walk. The 10K Run is a mix of trail & road, while the walk is contained all within the Salisbury Rail Trail.

Details: Join us for the 2nd Annual Freedom Fighters 5K run/walk to benefit Richard Honan's annual Christmas care package initiative for sons & daughters from Winthrop or with family ties to the community that are serving our Country. Each year on average 100 care packages full of an assortment of treats, toiletries, and pop up Christmas Trees are sent overseas. In our inaugural event in 2017, the event was a huge success in delivering Mr. Honan a $2000 donation and in 2018 we hope to see an even larger sum.

Details: 2nd Annual Flatbread Fiery 5K race for pizza and beer. We have partnered with Flatbread Pizza Co. in Georgetown to bring this unique event to the North Shore. Be the fastest female or male runner to cross the finish line and win FREE pizza for a year.

Description: Join us for the 3rd annual 5K Freedom Run & 1 mile Walk to raise money for Stepping Stones for Stella. 100% of the event proceeds are allocated to the production and shipment of Buggies to families across the country. This year we are happy to fully embrace & recognize the “Freedom” behind this event, by introducing a brand-new race category that truly identifies with what we’ve always hoped for this race: a PC Open Category. We hope this category attracts & encourages people with medically verified visual, physical or neurological impairments to participate in this event.

Details: 3rd Annual Stand Up Paddle Board race along the Danvers River. Paddlers will launch from the charming Danversport Yacht Club and navigate through protected waters to the turnaround Peters Point by the Kernwood Country Club in Salem.

Brunch: A 3 course catered brunch is included in your entry fee. Upon arrival, from 7:30am-9am, there will be coffee/tea/juice, fruit with yogurt & granola, and coffee cakes/bagels available. Post paddle, food service will start at 10am. There will be an array of options including: French Toast Casserole with fresh berries, home-style breakfast potatoes, apple-wood smoked bacon, cream cheese blintzes with strawberries and fluffy scrambled eggs sided with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. If you have family or friends attending, but not paddling, the fee for brunch is $45.00. He/she can purchase addl. tickets on event day at registration/check in.
Course: Paddling along the flat waters of the Porter River and Crane River will be perfect for all paddle levels from novice to elite. The coveted rivers attract the novice paddler looking for a great workout, while amateur to elite paddlers can test their speed skills on this timed 5 mile course & 2.5 mile course.
Swag: Technical Trucker Hats designed from our friends at BOCO are guaranteed to all pre-registered participants. Series swag will be distributed at SUP CUP to those participants who are signed up for a minimum of 3 events by 6/22/2018.

Board Rentals: If you don’t own your board, paddle, leash, or PFD make sure to visit our friends at Sup East Coast Style in Marblehead, MA OR Cape Ann Sup Essex, MAOR Coast to Coast Paddle to make sure you are equipped with the proper size and type of board for your skill level. We recommend you contact these shops well in advance to reserve your gear, be sure to mention you are paddling in the North Shore SUP Cup for a discount.
