Details: 3rd Annual Stand Up Paddle Board race along the Danvers River. Paddlers will launch from the charming Danversport Yacht Club and navigate through protected waters to the turnaround Peters Point by the Kernwood Country Club in Salem.

**The 14’ and Under M/F Pro is the only division eligible for cash prizes.
**If you are competing for Series points you must register for the 5 mile race in the North Shore SUP Cup
**If you are competing for Series points you must register & race in the same division throughout the series.
Brunch: A 3 course catered brunch is included in your entry fee. Upon arrival, from 7:30am-9am, there will be coffee/tea/juice, fruit with yogurt & granola, and coffee cakes/bagels available. Post paddle, food service will start at 10am. There will be an array of options including: French Toast Casserole with fresh berries, home-style breakfast potatoes, apple-wood smoked bacon, cream cheese blintzes with strawberries and fluffy scrambled eggs sided with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. If you have family or friends attending, but not paddling, the fee for brunch is $45.00. He/she can purchase addl. tickets on event day at registration/check in.
Course: Paddling along the flat waters of the Porter River and Crane River will be perfect for all paddle levels from novice to elite. The coveted rivers attract the novice paddler looking for a great workout, while amateur to elite paddlers can test their speed skills.
Swag: Technical trucker hats designed by our friends at BOCO are guaranteed to all pre-registered participants. Series swag will be distributed at SUP CUP to those participants who are signed up for a minimum of 3 events by 6/22/2018.

What to bring: Paddleboard, paddle, leash, PFD, sunscreen, towel, license (21+), and safety whistle (optional).
Parking: Plenty of FREE parking at race site.
Board Rentals: If you don’t own your board, paddle, leash, or PFD make sure to visit our friends at Sup East Coast Style in Marblehead, MA OR Cape Ann Sup Essex, MAOR Coast to Coast Paddle to make sure you are equipped with the proper size and type of board for your skill level. We recommend you contact these shops well in advance to reserve your gear, be sure to mention you are paddling in the North Shore SUP Cup for a discount.

Description: Join us for the 2nd Annual Griffin’s Gift Run/Walk on the evening of July 3rd to celebrate the late Griffin Lamar’s 4th birthday with a FUN, family friendly, timed 3.5 mile run or non-timed 1 mile walk. This event is in conjunction with Griffins Gift Family Field Day.

Team Griffin: This registration category is aimed for family members, close friends or for those who would like to make an additional donation in addition to his/her registration entry. Those participating on Team Griffin will be recognized with something special.
Packet Pickup/Race Day Reg: Opens at 5:00PM at Danvers High School. Packet pickup will be on race day only unless otherwise noted.
Course: The event will start/finish at Danvers High School. Runners will travel down Cabot Rd., turn right onto Chestnut, right onto the rail trail, turn right onto Wenham St, right onto Princeton St., right on to Trinity St., right onto Burley St and finish back at the High School.
Kids Fun Run: If your child (8 & under) would like to participate in the Kids Fun Run, it is FREE; however, you will need to register them. *Kids do not receive a t-shirt.
Swag:All pre-registered participants will receive a custom commemorative race t-shirt.
Top M/F overall runner
Top 3 M/F in each of the following age groups: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Post Race Festivities: Food/drink will be available for participants, a slew of local and corporate vendors will be on site and of course our DJ will be keeping us entertained throughout the course of the event.
Griffin’s Gift: Griffin’s Gift, a non profit charity is dedicated to helping potential adoptive families with the initial financial burden of the adoption process. Griffin’s life was itself a gift, and to honor his memory, Griffin’s Gift was established to support the cause that brought Griffin into the Lamar family: adoption. 100% of the net proceeds from this event will be allocated to Griffin’s Gift
