What is Rising Reg?

Rising Reg LLC is an online event registration portal.

Is the Rising Reg website and payments secure?

Yes, the site and the payment process is protected using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Certificates.  You’ll notice our website is preceded by https – this confirms the site is authenticated with SSL which indicates all private information: name, address, phone numbers, passwords, and credit card numbers is protected.  Use our site in confidence, knowing the information you enter on our secured pages protects the privacy and integrity of exchanged data.

Why do I have to create an account to register?

Creating an account on Rising Reg will provide another level of security during the registration process. You can browse through the website, learn about Rising Reg and check out all the different events, but once you try to register for an event you will be prompted to create your own unique account.

What are the benefits of creating an account?

Creating an account on Rising Reg will allow you a fast, seamless registration process anytime you login to register for an event.  Your account will be associated with a unique username and password that you will create during the account registration process.  Your username and password is associated with the email address you entered when you registered for the account.

How do I know which events I’ve already registered for?

The My Events page will display your current events that you have registered for on Rising Reg.  It will indicate if you have completed the registration process or if the payment is pending.  Basically acting as your own personal event assistant.  How Cool!  Now you don’t have to worry about wondering if you’ve registered or paid for an event, or wasting your time emailing an organizer to find out if you’ve have or haven’t.  It’s available to view as soon as you login to your account.

I forgot my password?

Your password can be reset any time by clicking on the link on the Login page to reset your password.

I forgot my username?

Your username will always be the email address that you used to create your account.

Can I change my username?

No. Once you create a username on Rising Reg you can’t change that username.  If you have another email address you could create an additional account; however, we don’t recommend that.  If you’re unsure which email address you used to register for your account, you can contact Rising Reg via the Contact Us page.

How to enter a discount code?

At checkout you will be given the opportunity to apply any discount codes you may have toward the event.  If the discount code doesn’t work please contact the event organizer.  These are codes that are unique to the event organizer and we don’t have authorization to add/edit codes.

Do you except national and international payments?

Yes, our e-commerce payment processing system does accept all major credit cards.

My Account page indicates that I have registered for the event, but I don’t remember if I’ve paid or never received a payment notification?

This is the default payment status; all user information is recorded when you register for the event, but this does not reserve a spot for the event.

This means the participant has not paid, but they do have a spot reserved for them in the event.

This means a payment notification has been received, or the participant has been marked as paid manually in the back-end.

Does Rising Reg provide a receipt for my purchase?

Yes, you can download an invoice for any event by going to the My Events page and clicking on Invoice.  You can save the invoice to your pc and print it.

What is the Refund Policy?

If you are looking for a refund please contact the event organizer.  Rising Reg is not authorized and does not have the capabilities to refund any registration funds. Once your registration fee is processed, those funds are immediately allocated to the event organizer.   The event organizer has access to refund your money.  If for some reason you can’t get in touch with the event organizer please contact Rising Reg.

How do I cancel my registration for an event?

In your account, under the My Events page, you will see an option to cancel your event.  This will remove the event from your event list, but it will not refund your money, please contact us.

How do I find my confirmation for the event?

When you sign up for an event on Rising Reg, you will have an automated receipt from Rising Reg.  First check your email inbox to see if you can find an automated receipt.  If you can’t find your receipt, log into your Rising Reg account and navigate to the My Events page.   You’ll be able to view all the events you’ve signed up for through Rising Reg this year.

How do I make edits to my registration?

If the event organizer gives the user privileges to edit their own registration you will have the ability to edit your registration, i.e., shirt size, race category, maybe even transfer your entry to someone else.  These privileges are awarded by the event organizer.  If event organizer doesn’t award you the ability to make these edits, please contact them if you need assistance with edits/changes to your registration.

Can I see other participants who register for the same event?

It’s up to the event organizer to decide whether they make their event participant list public.

Is there a Rising Reg newsletter I can sign up for to stay updated on events that Rising Reg is offering?

Yes, as a matter of fact there is.  If you’d like to be included in Rising Reg newsletters, you can stay updated by subscribing at the bottom of the home page.

Is Rising Reg on social media?
