Details: Start your Thanksgiving on the right foot by running in Middleton’s 2nd Annual Turkey Trot 5K. In it’s first year, the event had over 400 registered participants. This event is open to all and sure to be a good time before indulging in Thanksgiving dinner. Chip timing, performance t-shirts, medals, awards, and door prizes!  “Fast” walkers and strollers are welcome & asked to line up behind all runners. Please no rollerbladers, bicycles, scooters, or dogs on the course during race.

Time: 8:00AM (6:30AM pre race packet pickup will open)

Fees:
$20 through 8/1
$25 through 9/30
$30 through 11/27
Race Day: $40
Youth 15 and under: $20 (No price increase)

: Race day registration/packet pickup will open at 6:30AM. (Early packet pick up TBD)

Course:  Race starts & finishes behind the Flint Public Library.
Picturesque 5K (3.1 mile) lollipop race course on combination paved and dirt roads. Some rolling hills. Course follows the Middleton Pond on paved road for approximately .7 miles before turning into a hard packed dirt road for another .5 miles. Course will make 1 large loop around residential back roads then return to hard packed dirt and paved along the pond for the last 1.2 miles.

Swag: All participants pre-registered by 11/14  will receive a race shirt.

Awards: 
Top M/F overall runner
Top 3 M/F in each of the following age groups: 12-under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
No Double Dipping

Beneficiary: Event proceeds and donations will go to a local charity, TBD. Last year, we donated over $2000 to the Middleton Food Pantry.

Weather: This event will take place rain or shine! There will be no refunds.
